Background:

This coffee comes from the Tayronaca Co-operative located in Northern Colombia's Sierra Nevada region. The farms, primarily in the municipalities of Aracataca and Fundación, are located just 42km from the Caribbean coast. A total of 316 producing members are a part of this co-op and their combined farm area totals over 3,000 hectares. Coffee is picked ripe, depulped, fermented, washed, dried and delivered to the co-op.
